The 33rd annual convention, Jalsa Salana, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Japan was held at Bait-ul-Ahad, the Japan Mosque, on 3-4 May 2016.
Mr. Anees Ahmad Nadeem National President & Missionary Incharge and Mr.M.Uwais Kobayashi (1st Ahmadi Muslim & Translator of the Holy Quran) hosted the Flag ceremony at 11:30.
Imam Nadeem said in his inauguration speech, quoting the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad:
“The primary purpose of this convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits. They may enhance their knowledge and due to their being blessed and enabled by Allah the Exalted their perception (Of Allah) may progress. Among its secondary benefits is that this congregational meeting together will promote mutual introduction among all brothers and it will strengthen the fraternal ties within this community.”
Mrs.Tsumi Naoko addressed Jalsa Salana and said that she saw a dream when she was just 20. When Ahmadiyya Jama'at Japan gave her the Holy Quran, she studied it for one year and that is the Holy Quran which guided her to right path. Now she believes in Allah and will carry on her studies and research about the Holy Quran.
Mr.Dr.Abdullah Giovanni who entered Islam-Ahmadiyyat last year spoke about Islam and Human Rights.
Mr. M Asmath (Missionary Sri Lanka), Mr. Nasir Nadeem Butt, Mr.Hafiz Amjad Arif, Mr. Muhammad Ismatullah, Mr. Achmad Fathurehman, Mr. Maqsood Ahmad Sanori, Mr. Anwer Ahmad and Mr. Hizqeel Ahmad spoke at the occasion about the various educational topics.
It was the historic occasion for the members of the Ahmadiyya community Japan as this was the 1st Jalsa Salana (annual Convention) held at Bait-ul-Ahad, aslo known as the Japan Mosque,
